Central City of Khon Kaen

Khon Kaen, a pleasant city in Thailand’s Northeast region. Despite the location msl altitude (above sea level) is almost the same as the City of Bogor in West Java (which is about 100 meters), winter here is much more cold. This is possible because the city of Khon Kaen is located in the greater latitude than Bogor, which is about 16 degrees North (Bogor on 6.5 degrees south latitude). While visiting this city in mid-January 2009, the temperature ranged from 12 to 18 Celsius. City of Khon Kaen is also the capital of Khon Kaen province and the District Khon Kaen. The city is also known as an important city in Thailand’s silk trade.

Walking in East Kalimantan, especially in the crowd in the center of Balikpapan and Samarinda, there are practices that should not be overlooked, especially for the fans of seafood, ten-legged crustacean, aka crabs.

While in Samarinda, saturday night, after about 30 minutes through a winding journey from Tenggarong, I stop to visit Sari Laut. This  “warung” (small shop) is located near the Kota Tepian Hotel. Places that normally it even possible for some people, including the “less comfortable”, it has fulfilled all the seat from the car and looking rather difficult place to start booking. Visitors are very crowded. Which came not only among young people, but also the family entourage.

Mol, Belgium, Sunday morning in September 2005. After cycling from the Guest House, located in the middle of the Belgium remote Nuclear Complex, I was taking a breakfast while enjoying a weekend market (local named openmarkt). There were a lot of  special poultry and fish in the Centrum City of Mol. Then, immediately slide to the station, located in the Hangarstraat. Bicycles parked in the parking lot west of the station and do not forget locked. Buy Spoor tickets directly, destination city of Antwerpen. The price of 6.8 euros at the road. Not long to wait, immediately came and started to enjoy the train journey right at 10:47.

Cities that passed by the Geel, Olen, Herentals, Lier, and Berchem. Antwerpen Centraal arrived at around 11:45. This station is quite beautiful and still feels splendor, the old train station that was built a hundred years ago, many have experienced the touch of the latest technology.

Beginning September 2005, while walking to the southeast Indonesia and stay several days in Saumlaki, West Southeast Maluku district, I had the opportunity to play beach Wenluan. The beach is quite nice because it is still relatively clean from waste. I also visit to two islands near the coast.

Both islands are inhabited and many unique birds of a transit trip in their annual cross-continent. One of the island to remind one of the favorite books, works of Enid Blyton, The Famous Five (or circulating in Indonesia with the title series Lima Sekawan).

Beginning September 2007. The atmosphere was so sunny afternoon, the sun still shines on the position of three-four per trip before sinking. A group of people are seen struggling with a rope length and weight at the sandy beach and a few stones.  The team, consisting of about ten men who are working with a net.

March – April always reminds one thing, namely the interest Sakura through the mainland islands of Japan. The period of interest that “once a year” is always a moment of interest for anyone lover of flowers and natural beauty.

This is not a story about the beauty of Sakura, but experience a short time to try a boiled egg in a beautiful place, Hakone, during Sakura session. And this happened ten years ago … March-April 1998 … ooh long time ago …

Hakone is a city in the Kantō region including in district Ashigarashimo, Japan. The city is still thick with the “old-habit” condition, blessed Fuji mountain scenery with a very beautiful hat snow. Mount Fuji a distance of around 30 km to Northwest from this place.
